Zara’s Bubble Dresses
Zara’s Spring and Summer 2009 women’s collection looks promising – if you are into bubble dresses and oversized jackets, that is. They also offer a boyfriend’s shirt, sexy shoes and cool belts to cinch at your bubble dress so that one doesn’t sport the pregnant look.
I dunno why but I’ve never been inclined to even try on a bubble dress/skirt. It stops at the fattest part of the legs so there’s this fear that it’ll make my thighs and midriff look bloated at best. Or at worse, I’ll get friendly inquiries from total strangers of when the little one is due. The only person I saw looked good in them was a former model with mile-long legs.
But the colours of this Zara’s collection make them look so enticing – that I just might try them on with a pair of 3-inch heels (at the very least).
We’ll see.
These shoes look simply elegant and edgy. But again, I suppose one must have slim ankles to carry them off well. Mile long legs won’t do any harm, too. Sigh.
